Dr Helmut Kipphardt has held various positions within the Metall-Chemie Group since 1993, including that of Managing Director of Metall-Chemie Feinchemikalien. After completing his PhD in organic and technical chemistry at RWTH Aachen University, he worked for a major chemical group in the application-oriented development of thermoplastically processable polyurethanes. Dr Kipphardt later moved to a medium-sized chemical distributor based in Hamburg. He has been Managing Director of Metall-Chemie Technologies GmbH since 2013. Dr Kipphardt is married.
